It is the stated intention of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) Kuwait to innovate and constantly improve the level and variety of services provided to the public. MOI believes it must therefore always keep abreast with the rapid technological developments in the field of smart phones and PDAs. MOI recognizes the importance of these devices in streamlining services and delivering them quickly and intelligently.
MOI has developed the Second phase of the application “MOI – Kuwait”. The application was developed in accordance with the development in the field of smart technology, and many services were added to the user's interest, taking into consideration the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of user's personal data, through the adoption of security system that protects and secures user's data. So users can enjoy this application and take advantage of MOI services through their smart devices with confidence in the fact that all their data are secure and confidential.
The main services in this application are summarized as follow:
ϖ Inquiries service (for registered users only)
A- Personal inquiries
Users can query their personal data in several departments by creating their own user name and passwords and use it to do the following inquiries:
• Passport inquiry
• Election inquiry for Kuwaitis
• Sponsorship inquiry
• Residency for non-Kuwaitis
• Visa inquiry
• Driving licenses inquiry
• Vehicle inquiry
• Traffic violations inquiry
• Travel ban inquiry
• Judgment Execution
• Gun license
B- Related persons
This service helps the user to inquire about their relevant persons (passports for children under 18 or data of the sponsored user).
This service has been redeveloped so that registered users can pay their violations in an easy, fast and secure manner
ϖ Notification service
A- Private Notification (for registered users only)
This service enables registered users to receive reminders and alerts from the system about the expiry dates of their documents (Passport, Residency, Visa, Driving license, Vehicle license and Sponsorship); in addition users will receive a notice as soon as the violation is registered in the system.
B- Public Notification
Via this service, General Department of Relations and Security Information will communicate with the public by sending an important messages and notifications to the public.
ϖ MOI Locations
This service helps to identify the location of the Ministry of Interior Departments, Police Stations and Service Centers and their working hours. In addition this service will help to determine the nearest route to reach to those locations.
ϖ SOS Service ( you have to register once in this service before using it)
This service enables the user to get emergency assistance quickly by pressing the SOS button.
Important Note: Once you use this service, your personal data will be sent to the specialized authority (Central General Department of Operations) to quickly assist you.
In an emergency case, if you use this service before logging in, then the personal data of the last user who was logged in to this application on that mobile will be sent to the Central General Departments of Operations.
This service will enable the registered users to access their personal data and modify it. Also it will enable them to change their passwords.
